I conserving water buy using the water from my 2 rain barrels plus I am saving water from showers, washing/rinsing dishes, washing hands and using that water for my garden, flushing… So far this season, I have not using any town water for watering plants it’s all water that I have saved!

We discovered that when we turn on the tap to warm the water before getting in the shower, the cold water fills one waste basket. We then use that water to pour into our toilet to “force” flush it.
